Feature Description
Once connected, you can directly use 3Chat’s customer lookup, customer inquiry, and message sending capabilities within Doubao Work. The scope of customers and channels is determined by the configuration in the corresponding 3Chat account space.
Preparation
Before you begin, please confirm:
- You have installed the latest version of Doubao Work.
- You have an available 3Chat account space.
- You have obtained the API Key for the corresponding space from the 3Chat user backend.
For instructions on how to obtain the API Key, please refer to: How to Obtain a 3Chat API Key.
API Keys are sensitive credentials. Please do not display the full key in screenshots, tutorials, or public chats.
Step 1: Switch to Local Computer
Open Doubao Work, click on the Work Environment below the input box, and select:
Work Task · Local Computer
Custom connectors are currently only supported in the Local Computer environment. If you do not see this option, please visit the Doubao Work official website to download and install the latest version.
Step 2: Enter the Connector Page
Click on the following in the left navigation bar:
Skills · Connectors · Partners
Once inside, select “Connectors” and click New Custom Connector in the top right corner of the page.
Step 3: Fill in Connection Information
Configure as follows:

Example of Header Content:

Note that there must be a space between Bearer and the API Key. The API Key entered here determines which 3Chat account space Doubao Work connects to.
Step 4: Save the Connector
After confirming that the Server URL and Authorization information are correct, click Save.
Once saved successfully, you can use the 3Chat Private Domain Customer Operations connector within Doubao Work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Cannot select “Local Computer”
This is usually because the Doubao Work version is outdated. Please download and install the latest version from the official website.
Authentication Failed Prompt
Please check if the Header Name is Authorization, confirm that there is a space after Bearer, and verify that the API Key is complete and still valid.
Cannot Find Customers or Unable to Send Messages
Please confirm that the 3Chat account space corresponding to the API Key has authorized the relevant customer data, and that the customer channels to be used are connected in the 3Chat Agent. # Connect 3Chat Private Domain Customer Operations in Doubao Work
