1688 Seller Side: Tutorial on Using Gold Champion Sales Skills

1688 Merchant App - Gold Sales Champion Skill User Guide

I. Skill Overview

After configuring the Reply Token and Alert Phone Number, and successfully connecting an Android phone to your computer, you can launch the “1688 Merchant App - Gold Sales Champion” skill. The skill will automatically navigate to the Messages -> Buyer Inquiries page in the 1688 Merchant App on the phone, monitor buyer inquiry messages, use 3ChatClaw to generate sales replies, and automatically send them on the mobile device.

This skill is suitable for 1688 merchants for scenarios such as handling high-frequency consultations, following up on buyer inquiries, and managing leads. During operation, if the phone connection is lost or 3ChatClaw cannot continue to control the phone, the system will attempt to reconnect. If reconnection fails, it will send an SMS alert to the configured phone number and automatically stop monitoring.

VIII. Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why does it prompt that environment variables are missing?

This indicates that 3ChatClaw currently cannot read the environment variables required by this skill.

Please check if the following have been configured and saved:

  • ALIBABA_1688_AGENT_TOKEN
  • ALIBABA_1688_REPLYING_PHONE

If you have just modified the environment variables, please save and restart the skill.

2. Why can’t the computer recognize the phone?

Common reasons include:

  • Developer mode is not enabled on the phone;
  • USB Debugging is not turned on on the phone;
  • Phone USB usage is still set to Charge only;
  • Allow USB Debugging was not clicked in the phone popup;
  • The data cable only supports charging, not data transfer;
  • Multiple Android devices are connected to the computer simultaneously, causing the skill to be unable to determine which one to control.

It is recommended to re-check according to Part IV of this article, and prioritize replacing the data cable or USB port.

3. The phone is already connected, but why can’t the skill still operate it?

Please check:

  • Whether the phone is locked;
  • Whether the 1688 Merchant App is logged in;
  • Whether the 1688 Merchant App is obscured by system popups, permission popups, or update popups;
  • Whether the current account can normally access Messages -> Buyer Inquiries;
  • Whether the phone network is normal;
  • Whether you have manually switched to another App.

After handling these issues, restart the skill.

4. Why did I receive a disconnection alert SMS during operation?

This indicates that the skill detected an ADB disconnection or inability to continue controlling the phone during operation. The system will first attempt to reconnect; if it still fails, it will send an SMS alert and automatically stop monitoring.

After receiving the alert, please handle it in the following order:

  1. Confirm the phone is still connected to the computer;
  2. Confirm the data cable is not loose;
  3. Confirm the phone is still in File Transfer mode;
  4. Unlock the phone and check if the Allow USB Debugging popup appears;
  5. Confirm the 1688 Merchant App is still logged in;
  6. Restart the skill.

5. Which messages will the skill reply to?

This skill only processes buyer conversations under Messages -> Buyer Inquiries in the 1688 Merchant App. The skill will identify new buyer messages, generate replies, and send them via the mobile device.

To avoid accidental operations, do not switch pages frequently during operation.

6. Can I manually operate the phone while the skill is running?

No. The skill will automatically click, input, and navigate pages while running. Manual operation may cause page position changes, affecting the stability of automatic replies.

If you need to handle messages manually, it is recommended to stop monitoring first, handle the messages, and then restart the skill.
