Give your WeChat personal account AI-powered service capabilities. Based on the latest backend update from 3Chat, the platform now officially supports hosting your personal account with a 3Chat Agent.
Prerequisites
You need a 3Chat space registered with a phone number. If your space was registered via email or username/password, please create a new space using a phone number. Otherwise, you cannot complete the initialization of the personal account environment.
You must prepare an Android device. When prompted for new device verification during the QR code binding process, you will need the “Face Verification Assistant” app. There is currently no iOS version available. Refer to the image below and download the corresponding app based on your chosen login method:

Notes on the “Face Verification Assistant App”
Some WeChat accounts may not require this step. If no security verification prompt appears during the binding process, you can skip it.
Please note: During the binding of your WeChat personal account, if the system prompts for “New Device Verification” or related face authentication, this is part of WeChat’s own security risk control strategy, not an additional verification step added by 3Chat.
3Chat only assists in completing the authentication process required by WeChat to ensure your personal account can be successfully bound and logged in.
3Chat will not collect, store, or retain your facial information, nor will it access any personal privacy data unrelated to this authentication.
If you have concerns or discomfort regarding this step, you may choose to abandon binding your personal WeChat account. This will not affect your ability to use other 3Chat features.
However, if you wish to complete the integration of your personal WeChat account, you must cooperate with this verification process. Currently, this is also the most common method used across the industry for handling personal WeChat integration scenarios.
We recommend that you fully understand this step before deciding whether to proceed with binding.
Operation Steps
Once you have completed the prerequisites, follow the steps below to bind your personal account with a 3Chat Agent.
1. Navigate to “WeChat Integration” - “Personal Account” in the left-hand menu to enter the personal account environment. Then, in the secondary menu, find “Personal Account Operations” - “Personal Account List” to access the binding page.
2. Locate the yellow “Scan to Login” button at the top of the list, click it, and select “iPad QR Code Account” from the dropdown menu to proceed with the scan-to-login process.
2.1. Step 1 of Scan-to-Login: Confirm whether this is a first-time binding or a device change
- First-time binding: Recommended if your account has never been bound in 3Chat or if the personal account was previously unbound within the bound space.
- Device change: Use this option if your account is already bound in another space and is currently online, but you need to switch the binding device. Note that frequent device changes carry risks; proceed with caution.
2.2. Step 2 of Scan-to-Login: After completing the basic account information setup, click Next.

Login Method: You must use the QR code login method. For high-risk operations such as mass messaging, it is recommended to wait at least 8 hours after binding.

Select Region: Choose the region where your account is currently located. This may reduce the likelihood of triggering the first-time device verification process.

If no ports are available in the dropdown list, click “Buy Port” on the right to purchase a port.

- Daily price: 30, Weekly price: 200, Monthly price: 800, Yearly price: 7200.
- Trial users are automatically credited with 450 coins, allowing them to purchase 15 days of trial time.
2.3. Step 3 of Scan-to-Login: After entering the QR code page, open WeChat to scan the code.
The first two scans will display the interface shown below. At this point, click the back arrow or
in the top-left corner to return to the WeChat page.
Repeat this process until the “Log in to iPad WeChat” login page appears, then click Log in.
Note: You may need to repeat the scanning process until the “Log in to iPad WeChat” page appears.
2.4. If the prompt below appears, it indicates that a new device login verification has been triggered. Open the Face Verification Assistant App installed during the prerequisites and complete the new device verification.
- Open the App on your Android device. Upon first launch, it will scan your face and then proceed to the identity information entry page (Name & ID Number).
- Enter your ID number and the real name matching your ID card. After clicking Confirm, you will be redirected to the passcode input page. Enter the passcode.
- Simultaneously, on the 3Chat page, the QR code screen will redirect to the passcode input page, displaying a six-digit passcode.
- After entering the passcode, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the face recognition process.
- Once the above steps are completed, return to the phone used to log in to WeChat. If verification is successful, click Confirm to complete the login. If it fails, you must repeat the entire scan-and-bind process.
- The above steps must be completed within 3 minutes.
2.5. After face recognition is completed, the 3Chat page will wait for a while before redirecting to the “Binding Successful” page. The expected waiting time is 3–5 minutes to allow the backend to complete necessary account checks and processing.
2.6. Experience the chat functionality after binding.
Important Notes After Binding
After the first binding of a personal WeChat account in 3Chat, the account may go offline once within 7 days. This is due to a risk control trigger from WeChat. If this occurs, simply perform an online operation to restore connectivity.
After binding, it is recommended to keep the account online for at least 72 hours before using automated features such as mass messaging or posting moments. Performing such actions within 72 hours significantly increases the risk of account suspension.
Additional Notes
- Unbind: Reclaims the port allocated to this personal account, freeing up the port quota so you can bind other personal accounts.
- Offline: Logs out the current account, preventing it from sending or receiving messages, but does not reclaim the port quota.
- Group Chats: During the Beta testing phase, group chat scenarios are temporarily not supported for automated replies.
- Enterprise WeChat Contacts on Personal WeChat: During the Beta testing phase, replies to “Enterprise WeChat Contacts” are not supported.
