Feature Description
In 3ChatAgent → Basic Configuration, a new Memory Module has been added to enhance AI continuity and context understanding in multi-turn conversations.
Feature Toggle Descriptions
1. Reference Recent Sessions
This toggle controls: When a user has not replied for a long time and then re-enters the chat, whether the AI should reference the content of the immediately preceding conversation.
Use Cases
For example, if a user recently asked a question in the previous conversation but left midway, and then initiates a session again after some time.
With this feature enabled, the AI can combine the content of the previous conversation to naturally continue the context, reducing repetitive communication.
Feature Effects
- When Enabled: The AI will reference content from recently concluded sessions, ensuring smoother conversation continuity.
- When Disabled: The AI will not reference the content of the previous recent session and will respond as if starting a relatively independent new conversation.
2. Reference Key Information
This toggle controls: When a user mentions important information worth recording during the chat, whether the AI should automatically identify and save this information for future retrieval when needed.
Use Cases
For example, when a user mentions during the conversation:
- Their identity information
- Common needs or preferences
- Fixed business background
- Important details related to subsequent services
With this feature enabled, the AI will automatically extract and record these key pieces of information and reference them as needed in subsequent conversations, thereby improving the accuracy and personalization of responses.
Feature Effects
- When Enabled: The AI can automatically record and retrieve key information mentioned by the user in historical conversations.
- When Disabled: The AI will not automatically reference such information in subsequent conversations.
Summary
The Memory Module primarily helps the AI better understand user context, improving conversation continuity and service experience.
Specifically:
- Reference Recent Sessions: Focuses on bridging the content of the conversation that “just ended recently.”
- Reference Key Information: Focuses on preserving and retrieving important information mentioned by the user in historical conversations.
You can flexibly enable or disable these capabilities according to actual business scenarios.
