WeChat Channel Integration Guide
1. Introduction to the WeChat Channel
The WeChat channel allows users to converse with Agents in 3ChatClaw directly via WeChat.
After integrating the personal WeChat channel, users can send messages to an Agent via their personal WeChat account, and the Agent will reply within WeChat. Once configured, messages from WeChat friends or WeChat groups can be forwarded to an Agent in 3ChatClaw for processing, with the Agent automatically generating replies.
The WeChat channel itself is responsible for connecting WeChat and 3ChatClaw. It is the Agent within 3ChatClaw that truly understands the messages, invokes skills, and generates responses.
Note: After integrating the WeChat channel, you must keep 3ChatClaw and the corresponding Agent open and online.
If 3ChatClaw exits, the computer goes into sleep mode, the network disconnects, or the Agent is not in a responsive state, messages in WeChat may not be processed in a timely manner.
2. Prerequisites
Before integrating the WeChat channel, please confirm the following:
-
3ChatClaw is running normally
The WeChat channel relies on 3ChatClaw to receive and process messages. -
The Agent is online
Messages sent via WeChat are handed over to the Agent for processing. Please ensure the Agent can converse normally. -
A personal WeChat account ready for QR code authorization is prepared
The personal WeChat channel requires scanning a QR code with the mobile WeChat app and confirming authorization. -
The computer and network are stable
If the computer sleeps, loses network connectivity, or 3ChatClaw is closed, the WeChat channel may be unable to send or receive messages.
3. Logging into the WeChat Channel via QR Code
It is recommended to complete the WeChat channel login via the 3ChatClaw console using a QR code.

5. Usage Recommendations
1. Keep the Agent Online
The WeChat channel only integrates WeChat messages into 3ChatClaw; the Agent is responsible for generating the actual replies. Please ensure 3ChatClaw is running and confirm that the corresponding Agent can respond normally.
2. Test with Private Chat First
After saving the WeChat channel configuration, it is recommended to first send a simple message from another WeChat account to the current account to confirm that the Agent can receive and reply normally.
3. Enable @Mention for Group Chats
If integrating with a WeChat group, it is recommended to enable Requires @Mention to prevent ordinary group chats from being frequently sent to the Agent for processing.
4. Use Caution When Enabling “Show Thinking Process”
To prevent replies from becoming too long, it is recommended to disable Show Thinking Process and keep only the final reply content.
5. Re-scan the QR Code if the Token Expires
If the WeChat channel suddenly stops receiving or sending messages, return to Channels -> WeChat, click Get Login QR Code again, and scan to re-authorize.
